KILN-DRIED LARCH – Your firewood is dried to less than 20% moisture levels & is ready to burn from the moment it is delivered! The Larch we currently supply has been harvested from an estate only a few miles away from our premises. This ensures our carbon footprint for this product is minimal. Larch is the hardest of all soft-woods and has an intense flame. It does spark so is suitable for enclosed wood burning stoves only.
EASY TO CARRY NETS – Our nets are small enough to handle, but large enough to pack a punch! Our nets & logs are much larger than what you would receive in the shops and having them delivered to your door instead of piling into a trolley is a convenience we can all appreciate.

Great wood nets easy to move into the log shed. Such a shame the delivery man could take the pallet away to be reused.

Logs were really good. Well packaged and protected. Delivery not so great. Had to have delivery on layby near home and had arranged for help transporting to house. Carrier arrived two days early with no notice of delivery date change. Had to transport logs myself as layby not secure. hard going for older female.

As always my order arrived on the appointed date, never had fully seasoned wood before, I normally get semi seasoned and finish it off in my wood store but this is excellent. Angus and the Firewood Express team must be working flat out but the service and quality of the larch is as always great. Three stars for the price is because with all those conifers in Scotland you’d think they would be glad to give a few away so that the can plant more deciduous trees. I have been a customer of Firewood Express for five years now.

The pallet arrived very welI shrink wrapped, all the nets neatly stacked so easy to store, logs are dry and burn well. Ordered one pallet which arrived a day earlier than ordered, it would probably be a good idea to get courier to advise of delivery day if different than the day booked on the site. The website is easy to use.

Very happy with everything – ordering was easy, delivery was communicated well, and arrived exactly when scheduled. Driver was very helpful dealing with our slightly tricky location, and as I have come to expect, the logs were all pretty even, the nets filled well, and the quality was great. Burn really well, and the fairly even sizing means they also stack well, and look neat, when stored! We started ordering in 2018 – only 1 or 2 pallets a year, but that is all we need – and have happily continued every year, and have always been really happy with both the process, and the product.
