HOT BURNING & ECONOMICAL
Larch is an economy firewood however don’t let this put you off. It is a customer favourite and is the longest, hottest burning softwood available in the UK with properties akin to hardwood.

Our hardwood firewood logs have been kiln dried to less than 20% moisture content. This gives you a more consistent product and more heat energy & is perfect for use in smokeless zones.

Decided to take a punt on Larch, and very happy with the product. Just as website says, is an excellent woodburner fuel. Might not suit open fire, as spits a lot, but in a stove this adds a bit of ambience in my opinion, and kicks out plenty of heat for a long burn time. Again, website is accurate about some “chunky” logs if you opt for 10″, but I have no issue splitting a few logs down a bit myself and it’s an excellent price for kiln dried logs which burn well. I’ll definitely be a return customer once worked thru this lot! 👍

Scottish larch was recommended to me because it’s sustainable and is said to burn just as good as hardwood. I am not disappointed!
