Your Giant Nets are filled with the same volume as three 0.7m3 bulk-bags! We provide 8″ or 10″ logs to fit both large and small fires or wood burning stoves.

HARDWOOD
Your Giant Net will generally contain a mixed load of Hardwood containing one or more of the following species, Birch, Beech, Oak, Sycamore & Alder. The hardwood we provide has been specially chosen for it’s long, hot burning characteristics.
LARCH (aka STOVEWOOD)
Larch is our best selling firewood. Although technically a softwood, Larch is the hardest softwood available and produces a bright, hot flame when burned. Larch is suitable for enclosed stoves only as it has a tendency to spark.
We are regulated by the “Ready to Burn” scheme and comply with all clean air Government legislation.
FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY
We deliver free of charge to any address on Mainland UK – including the Highlands & the Isle of Skye!
Simply select your target delivery date at checkout and our courier will do their very best to get your firewood to you on that date.
Your Firewood is delivered on an 18 tonne lorry (about the size of a bin lorry) and the driver will use a pallet pump and tail lift to place your logs. The deliveries are made to kerbside however we have found that many of the drivers are amenable to placing your order within your garden so long as the ground is flat and there are no obstructions, this is at driver discretion not to be expected.

Finding a good supplier of dry wood in Scotland has been a challenge but I finally feel I’ve struck gold with Firewood Express. The delivery partner was the best so far in all the years I’ve had wood delivered dropping it almost next to my wood store on a gravel driveway. They even called by phone to describe what they were going to do and seek permission. The wood itself is perfect and not only burns clean and hot but is also the perfect size for my log burner. I feel very pleased with sufficient wood to see me through the winter at an excellent price.Great job
The wood is fine, burns nice and slowly, good quality and cut to the size ordered. No issues there at all.
On the other hand, the delivery company only does “curbside”, which, because I didn’t realise I had to read all the web page on delivery, not just the first paragraph which said leave a note to say where you want the pallet dropped , I wasn’t aware of. I thought the truck would back into the drive and leave it at the side. So the pallet was left on the road, not on our drive. It’s clear enough if you read the whole story but you need to know to read it all.
Kiln dried and efficient burning logs
Great quality wood. Dry and burns nice and slow. Matched with our soft wood it makes for a toasty fire. Delivery was on time as well.
Delivery great. Man was very friendly and helpful considering we have a gravel driveway. His pallet loader does not like running on gravel but he managed to get the pallet clear of the gate.
All in all a super service. Only one thing I didn’t get a confirmation email regarding my order.

Perfect from start to finish, delivery fine, wood is very good quality – loads of wee slivers in the net can be used as tinder so thats a bonus!
We’ve been using Firewood Express for years and the service and firewood is always very good. Just had another delivery of Ready to Burn Hardwood and all stacked away but noticed this time that quite a number of logs are large and need splitting.
They say that firewood warms you more than once. Once when you split it; once when you stack it; once when you burn it.
