Still keeping up those New Year resolutions? Joined a gym yet \ud83d\ude09 ? I’m having a go at eating “clean”, but my cravings for sweet things are huge.<\/p>\n

Briquette lovers, I have news for you this week, we are taking delivery of a load of cracking UK produced briquettes this week. These are manufactured from UK sawmill by-products and therefore fully FSC certified. I have tested them against a number of other options, and have been most impressed.<\/p>\n

Watch out for an email on Wednesday when we will be releasing the sample packs for order.<\/p>\n

In recognition that we have all overspent over the festive season, we have a Flash Sale on the kiln-dried softwood (good for all wood burning stoves and all areas), just \u00a3156 for a giant pack see it here:<\/p>\n

On a different note, I watched a really pleasant programme on TV the other night and thought you might like to share it.<\/p>\n

It is presented by one of Scotland’s national treasures, Cameron McNeish. He does a 2 part series every winter called “Routes less traveled”.<\/p>\n

This year’s second part includes the Angus Glens, literally visible from my office here. These are the source of most of the firewood you are burning.<\/p>\n

So, whether you need some inspiration for a summer holiday, or just to see my weekend playground, have a wee look:<\/p>\n
