Because our pack is 2m3 we are allowed to sell it. However, we will have to provide a label giving guidance and a warning that it must be dried before burning.<\/p><p>So with that, feel free to buy our semi-seasoned products (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.firewood-express.co.uk\/semi-seasoned-firewood\/1-47-semi-seasoned-larch-2m3.html#\/25-size-10\">Larch<\/a><\/span> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firewood-express.co.uk\/product\/semi-seasoned-scots-pine-2-0m3\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Pine<\/span><\/a>) but also buy a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/s?k=wood+moisture+meters&amp;ref=nb_sb_noss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">moisture meter<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/p><p>Note this legislation is only for England at the moment.<\/p><p>Further to the above you may have read or heard of the recent the guardian newspaper article <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/environment\/2021\/feb\/16\/home-wood-burning-biggest-cause-particle-pollution-fires#:~:text=Domestic%20wood%20burning%20has%20become,a%20separate%20government%2Dcommissioned%20report.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click to view<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/p><p>Although we all love our woodburners, they are undoubtedly becoming a target. With this in mind, you have heard me go on about this before, but here it is again:<\/p><p>1. <strong>Only burn dry wood<\/strong>, either buy our<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firewood-express.co.uk\/13-ready-to-burn-firewood\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">kiln dried firewood<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, or buy semi-seasoned larch and only burn once moisture content is below 20%<\/p><p>2. If you stove is over about\u00a08 years old, save up and buy a new one. The new designs are far cleaner (and more efficient). If you are still using an open fire, the advice is to install one of these new clean burn stoves.
