The sun is baking down here in Angus this week, we’ve gone from skiing to sunburn in such a short time.

The farm finished up the Spring planting very well, after such a late start. Preparations are well on the way for the daffodil bulb harvest. The first bulbs harvested are destined for the USA beacuse of our High Health Status.

You would think that a firewood firm might now put their feet up and take a well deserved rest.

But no, it doesn’t work like that here.

We are now flat out on the summer production, not only for airdrying in preparation for next winter, but also for sale to our customers across the UK to dry themselves.

Unashamed Charity Promotion

As mentioned before, on a personal note, I would really appreciate your support for the upcoming tough mudder I am doing with some of my kids, in aid of a cracking little charity, I have set up a Justgiving page for the wonderful little charity Calum’s cabin, who provide suitable holiday accomodation for families living with a child with cancer.
